Terms and Conditions
Please read this statement carefully, as it sets out the terms and conditions relating to the use of this website.
If you do not agree to be bound by these conditions, please do not continue to use this website.
All buyers must ascertain that the purchasing of products from the electrocare-UK website does not contravene any local laws relating to the sale of goods or taxes. Particular restrictions apply in the USA and Canada.
1.Liability
Electrocare-UK, and Associated Parties, exclude any liability, including that for negligence, for the content of this website, and any products sold through it. We also exclude any liability for goods or services provided by any individual or company which advertises on our website, or has an active link through to their website from our website. Electrocare-UK will not be party to any contracts you may enter into with such third parties.
2. Warranty
It is the Buyers responsibility to retain proof of purchase, and store products as instructed by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will need to be contacted if faults are found with products after 14 days after delivery date. For Omron products the manufacturer must be contacted from date of purchase.
3. Contract
Accepted orders are processed at our registered premises in the United Kingdom.
No contract is made unless electrocare-UK issues a Sales Invoice. This will occur once your order has been checked. electrocare-UK may, at its absolute discretion, accept or decline any order without explanation.
4. Prices
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT). Packing & carriage charges will be added where applicable.
5. Payment Terms
Strictly cash with order. No goods will be shipped until payment is received, or credit/debit card details are accepted. When the purchaser is paying by credit card, payment is taken immediately.
6. Re-Presented Cheques
A £15 charge will be made each time a cheque has to be re-presented for clearance.
7. Price Changes
Prices quoted on this website are subject to change without notice.
8. Failure to Deliver
Please contact electrocare-uk if you have not received goods within 15 days. A signed letter will need to be provided stating you have not received goods. A refund or a replacement can then be issued.
9. Delivery Address
Deliveries can only be made to a full postal address, complete with a Postal Code. If an order cannot be signed for at the time of delivery then a delivery card will be left stating that a delivery was attempted, and another attempt will be made the following day.
10. Goods Out of Stock
If we are out of stock of any item, this will normally be stated on the website, and will be pointed out to the Buyer on receipt of the order. We will always try and make arrangements to complete orders in these circumstances.
11. Return of Goods
All goods supplied against a firm order, may not be returned without the Purchaser applying for, and receiving, the consent of electrocare-UK, this includes goods sent in error. Goods will not be accepted for return later than 14 days from the shipment date. Goods returned must be in a saleable condition, (including the product packaging). All returned goods will be subject to a 10% handling charge unless they were delivered in error by electrocare-UK (who will pay carriage costs in these circumstances). Returned goods cannot be credited to an account, until they are checked at our warehouse. With the exption of Omron products they must be dealt with under the warranty received with the product.
12. Notification of Damaged Goods
All deliveries must be inspected for visible damage, prior to acceptance by the Buyer. Any damage must be noted on the documentation held by the Carrier. All deliveries should be unpacked and checked for concealed damage within 24 hours of receipt. electrocare-UK must be notified immediately any damage is found. This notification must be made in writing within 3 DAYS of the Buyer taking delivery.
13. Non Delivery
We must be notified of non-delivery WITHIN 7 DAYS of the Buyer receiving the invoice for the goods. Notification must be confirmed in writing.
14. Title
All goods remain the property of electrocare-UK until paid for in full by the Buyer
15. Changes in Product Specification
electrocare-UK is continually improving its products, and reserves the right to modify the specification of goods on sale without prior notification.
16. Errors & Omissions
Any errors contained in this website, our order acknowledgement or invoice shall be rectified by electrocare-UK when discovered, and notified to the Buyer. Buyer and electrocare-UK shall have the option to settle any outstanding amounts or cancel the order.
17. Enforceability
If any of these terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, then the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
18. Governing Law
Use of this website, and all transactions, are governed by the law of England & Wales.
19. Statutory Rights
Acceptance of these terms and conditions, does not affect the consumers statutory rights.
16. WEE.
United Kingdom is under an obligation to minimise the disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in domestic waste and encourage recycling, recovery and environmentally sound disposal. Electrocare-UK is committed to promoting the reuse, recycling and recovery of WEEE by contributing to the appropriate compliance schemes. Certain electrical items can not be disposed of in domestic waste but disposed of through an approved WEEE take back scheme. For details of your local collection facilities, please contact your local authority or visit www.recycle-more.co.uk. As our contribution to helping the environment we offer a free take back scheme. If you wish to purchase an electrical item from us and would like us to dispose of your old item in an environmentally friendly way, please contact us. We can only offer this service when an old product has the same use as the new product being purchased. To use our service, please contact our customer services team. Electrocare-uk is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new electrical or electronic product from us.
